Visit a nearby, quaint little town (like Sedona, AZ)

Every state seems to have a small town that is well known for tourism. In Arizona, it’s Sedona where you can see red rocks and check out all kinds of neat little shops and trails. There are others in other places – go look for them!

We haven’t documented this one yet. If you have tried it, please leave your comments below!

My husband and I decided to drive up to Sedona for the weekend. It was late fall in Phoenix. We got there around mid-afternoon. It was a wonderful experience. We drove into the “heart” of Sedona, and walked around all the little shops. We also had dinner at a wonderful restaurant (it used to be a firehouse). The food there was amazing and the atmosphere was quiet and romantic. If you do go to Sedona, make sure you pack warm clothes, because it’s cold there!
